Animals & Humans

You can kill an animal for survival (that's nature) but you can't kill an animal out of fun or amusement.

Animals abuse are quite common.Usually cats and dogs are the victims since they are the common domestic animals that most people have. Animal Planet is one of my favourite channels and there will be this program on Animal Cops where they will catch insensitive bastards who abuse and neglect their pets. They have their own police cops.

People say Malaysia have their own law on animal abuse. I don't know if it actually exist but if it does, i guess it's not being enforced properly.

Since a few days ago, many animal lovers, especially dog lovers were enraged when a video clip of a puppy being abused by his owner started to spread around. I only saw the video for like 15-30 secs because i can't stand seeing animals being abused. I don't even want to watch it out of curiosity because the moment the owner hit the dog like that, it breaks my heart. The dog wasn't even doing anything wrong and he was being hit like that?? A**hole.

Why do people like to abuse animals?

1. Mentally retarded.
2. They have no respect for animals. They think humans are far superior than animals and hence, can do anything.
3. They feel they are in power when they abuse, torture and humiliate a lower being.
4. They think they abusing an animal is not as serious as abusing a human being.

Like i said earlier, you can kill an animal for survival but you can't kill an animal out of fun or amusement. What does this mean?

You can kill an animal because you need to eat its meat to survive or because they are going to harm you. Even animals in the animal kingdom do that. But you don't kill animals because you want to wear their fur for fashion sake or use their skin to make handbags or cut off the tusks of certain animals and sell it to gain some profit. Even animals don't do that on other animals. We all know it's kindda sick those who wear fur just for the sake of some lame fashion trend. I don't support fake stuff but fake fur is better than real fur because it won't make you an animal killer.

Punishment for people who INTENTIONALLY kill, abuse or torture animals? Death would be ideal but then again, majority wouldn't agree to it since they will never agree that the value of an animal life is the same as a human's. Thus, CANNING. If it causes the animal's death, then it should be maximum canning. At least those bastards suffer for what they did to the animals.

Selling Your Face and Body

http://qjphotos.wordpress.com/2010/10/04/mimikakiten-the-next-maid-cafe/

Above is a link leading to an article titled "Mimikakiten: The Next Maid Cafe?". To make a summary of this article, it' basically where men have to pay certain amount of money to get their EARS CLEANED by YOUNG BEAUTIFUL WOMEN. Quoting a phrase from the article :

"A husband lying down with his head on his wife’s lap having his ears cleaned is an image of domestic bliss in Japan, and it’s said that when a guy has no one to clean his ears, it can be a lonely experience to do it for himself."

S-T-U-P-I-D....

I cleaned my own ears ever since my mom taught me how to do it. And the thought of feeling LONELY because i have to do it myself never cross my mind.. Or only MAN feel lonely having to clean his ears by himself? BIG BABIES!

i have no respect for jobs that PAYS you to wear 20 inch make up to look pretty (more like a fake clown), dress beautiful or sexy and to serve and entertain MEN..

And a thing or two about MAID CAFE, which i just googled up since i'm not that fimilar with Japanese culture although i know somehow their culture seems to represent their women as submissive :

1. "Maid cafés are a subcategory of cosplay restaurants found predominantly in Japan. In these cafés, waitresses dressed in maid costumes act as servants, and treat customers as masters (and mistresses) in a private home, rather than as café patrons."

2. "Waitresses in maid cafés are often chosen on the basis of their appearance; most are young, attractive and innocent-looking women. For example, Royal Milk Café,[4] a popular maid café, reports that the average age of its waitresses is 20."

3. "Maid cafés were originally designed primarily to cater to the fantasies of male otaku, obsessive fans of anime, manga and video games."

4. "Today, the maid café phenomenon attracts more than just male otaku, but also couples, tourists, and women. Though the waitresses at maid cafés are sometimes interpreted as objects of romantic or sexual desire, they can also be viewed as simply aesthetically appealing figures."

Aside from that, a few months ago i was watching a program on tv which tells the story of a particular profession in Japan. I forgot the name of the profession but these women were selling nuts or whatever snacks it is. But to make the business more appealing, these women are young, pretty, cute, beautiful and will be dressed sexily. And when these women are interviewed, that don't feel there is anything wrong selling the snacks while dressed scantily or knowing the fact that men want to buy those snacks just to have the chance to talk to these girls. How desperate men can be...

Anyway, do you see what i'm trying to point out here? As a woman, you are being paid to look beautiful and to entertain men. Some are being paid to look beautiful and to dress scantily to SELL THINGS. This is simply degrading to women. It also shows how submissive women are.

So yes, the saying that "beauty is only skin deep" is Bull Sh*t... Look around you, women will always be pressured to look pretty and beautiful. Men will always emphasize how they want a beautiful wife/gf. Work jobs will emphasize how young and pretty you must be. A woman who is smart will hardly be acknowledged for her intelligence, especially if she's not pretty.

What a SUPERFICIAL world we are living in.

Intolerent Muslims?

Above is a letter made by a person who is complaining that the Azan is getting louder. Let's analyze this letter first :

1. The person is just complaining that the Azan is getting louder, he's not requesting for the Azan to be stopped immediately.

2. The person was okay with the Azan being played on previous occasions because the volume was reasonable. Only now he finds that the volume wasn't reasonable because it was getting louder.

3. No INVESTIGATION was made yet to determine whether the Azan was way too loud. So we can't say whether the person is intentionally trying to provoked the Muslims or his complaint has some basis.

BIG QUESTION : Is it wrong if the Azan is being played too loud? The purpose of Azan is so that the Muslims know it's praying time, hence the need for it to be LOUD ENOUGH for people to hear. It can't be too low because then nobody will know it's praying time.

Anything that is too loud can be damaging to the ears. I'm sure they have that machine thing to measure the amount of decibel a sound is making and whether it's ok or not for the ears to tolerate.

As Muslims, we wouldn't have a problem even if the Azan is way too loud. Besides, the Azan is only playing for like 2-3 mins.

Again, we have to REMEMBER that we are living in a MULTIRACIAL COUNTRY. So what is okay for us, might not be so okay with those who don't practice the same religion as us. Just because Islam is the majority religion, that doesn't mean only other religion have to tolerate with us and we don't have to tolerate with them.

I've been in an environment of Muslims and also Non Muslims. The problem with some Malay Muslim in Malaysia is that they think they are so great. Some can be very disrespectful to other religion. How are some Muslims behaving in an intolerant manner towards other religion?

1. They criticized and make fun of the idols of other religion. Sure Islam don't believe in idols and it's a sin to do so but is it necessary for a Muslim to be so critical of it when other non Muslims are doing it?

2. Critical of the smell that is produced by the burning sticks used in prayers. The smell won't last forever and if you can't stand the smell just spray some air freshener. This is the perfect comparison to the Azan. Some non Muslims can't tolerate the Azan as how some of us Muslims can't tolerate the smell of burning sticks. So what do we do to solve this problem? Lower the Azan slightly to what is "deemed reasonable" and as for the burning sticks, maybe they can burn it less or find a better burning place where the smell won't be that obvious.

3. Make a big fuss about the jam due to any religious event that is going on. We Muslims make a big fuss about the jams that are caused but have you ever think of what some of the non Muslims might think of the jam that take place every Friday for the Friday prayers?

MY POINT : For Muslims to be more tolerant and don't simply jump to conclusions that whatever the non Muslims request is to provoked the Muslims or destroy the Muslims. In regards to this Azan issue, some Muslims are so intolerant that they immediately viciously attack the person for even making a statement that the Azan was TOO LOUD. Some commented that the person should just get lost and don't live in Malaysia, calling that person names and even accusing Muslims who support that person as "MUNAFIK" ( religious hypocrite)/ "KAFIR" (disbeliever).

I'm neither a munafiq or a kafir. All i'm asking is for some Muslims to be more tolerant and use common sense and logic when dealing a problem. I'm not the one tarnishing the image of Islam. I don't go around showing that Islam is a religion of intolerance by saying mean and humiliating stuff, and claiming to be defending the religion and therefore any form of nasty utterances is justified. Funny, for someone that is so Islamic, they are capable of cursing and saying nasty things.

This guy is merely questioning the loudness of the Azan. He's not saying mean things about it. So think reasonably and don't viciously attack him for bringing up this issue.

Celebrating Something Which you don't Celebrate

So there was this site which made the following statement : " Ada org cakap, org islam tak fikir guna akal logic bila mengungkit pemimpin yg sambut krismas. Mereka kata, malaysia negara majmuk, sambut krismas perkara biasa. bukan tukar agama. - ketua admin".

English translation as simple as possible : some says that Muslims don't use logic when they condemn rulers who celebrate Christmas. They say that Malaysia is a multi cultural country so celebrating Christmas is a norm. It has nothing to do with religion conversion".

Honestly, i do come across a lot of Muslims who don't use LOGIC when they talk about Islam. For some of them, if it's WRONG, it's WRONG. You can't question why it's wrong because if you question, means you are not a Muslim. Believe me, i do come across several Muslims who got angry just because i QUESTION CERTAIN THINGS. Hell, i'm still a Muslim. I don't question the existence of Allah. What i'm questioning is the things that some Muslims do which at times doesn't seem to be that RATIONAL.

And a lot of Malay Muslims are like that. Maybe i make such statement because i'm staying in Malaysia, so i don't know how are the mindset of other Muslims. Then again, i do come across some Muslims who debate about Islam in a logically manner. Like Ahmed Deedat. I love hearing his debates because he ACTUALLY USE HIS BRAIN TO ARGUE OUT ABOUT ISLAM AGAINST THOSE WHO QUESTION ISLAM.

Okay, let's get back to the issue. I'll be talking about Christmas because it seems that this issue arise from the recent incident of some Muslim rulers celebrating Christmas.

Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus.

What amounts to a celebration? That's very SUBJECTIVE. If i, a Muslim, just merely visit a non Muslim's house during Christmas celebration because i was invited for Christmas lunch or dinner, is that wrong? If i was invited to a Christmas event, is that wrong? Why is it wrong? All that i'm doing at the Christmas event is watching people doing Christmas performances and then eat something later.

I've read some of the comments by Muslims who are against Muslims celebrating Xmas. Even just wishing someone MERRY CHRISTMAS is WRONG because according to that person, it's admitting the birth of Jesus. That's so stupid. Obviously Jesus do exist but we Muslims don't admit he's a God. So tell me, is it wrong to wish a person Merry Xmas?

From my point of view, it's all about INTENTION. I wish my friends Merry Xmas because they celebrate it. It's a happy occasion for them. it's not my intention to convert to that religion or believe in it's teachings or whatever is it. Is it wrong for me to attend a Christmas event? I'm not doing anything religious there. I'm not going there to be converted. I'm not even participating in any of their religious activities.

Some very conservative Muslims say Muslims can't keep dolls in the house because they are like IDOLS and plus the house won't get blessings from Angels a.k.a angels won't enter the house. That's rubbish. I don't keep dolls in the house as idols. i don't pray to them to seek blessings. Why do i keep the dolls then? As decorations. Is that wrong? Logically, it's not wrong.

The same applies to celebrations of other religion in Malaysia like Deepavali, Chinese New Year etc. No harm in celebrating them as Muslims if we are invited for open house. We go to their houses just to wish them and to eat and talk. not participating in their religious activities. So by just doing that, how can our faith in Islam be wavered?
