Men and Mascara

For these past few weeks, i've been obsessed with Mascara, all thanks to the Maybeline "Long Extreme Double Stretch" mascara. It was a good mascara, i like the effect of it, makes my eyelashes noticeable and make it longer. Mascara's main objective is to volumnized and elongate your eyelashes. Some claimed to make your eyelashes more curled. If you are blessed with super thick curled up eyelashes (like my 8 year old boy cousin!), you won't need mascara.

There's also the option of FAKE EYELASHES. Just glue it on your upper eyelid or something. Never tried it because i was never interested in it because i think it's too fake. I like to work with what i've got, enhanced it. It's like wearing push up bra or getting silicone. One is temporary, the other is permanent but both have the effect of making your breasts look bigger. Push up bra isn't entirely fake because only if you have some boobs will the push up bra worked (unless you have super duper water silicone push up bra or you stuff a lot of tissues in your bra). Silicone on the other is totally fake because you can have a flat chest and with a little help from silicone on the left and right, taa daa, you have two fake big boobs.

Like with mascara, if your original eyelashes isn't that long or thick, then perhaps the effect isn't that great compare if you were to wear fake eyelashes.

So back to my mascara story. After experiencing how good the Maybeline mascara was, i wanted to try a few other mascara, see whether the effect was equally good or even better. So i tried a few, it was disappointing despite the fact that it was a branded brand. Like there's this one Loreal brand for mascara, it's a 2 way mascara, just like the Maybeline, meaning you apply the white applicator first then the black one. But the problem with Loreal is that it makes my eyelashes look hard and clumpy. With Maybeline, it's smooth and look more natural.

So what's the connection with MEN?

If our current partner is good, doesn't cause any problems in the relationship, then you should keep him. Don't be tempted by other man who may just "look" promising on the surface because he's attractive or rich. You don't really know his personality that well. Why be greedy?

So my lesson with mascara is that if my current Maybeline mascara is satisfactory, i shouldn't get another mascara despite the ads saying it will make my eyelashes 5 TIMES THICKER and LONGER.. Coz those are just BS.. Some anyway. Be happy with what you have. Actually, this apply to lipgloss as well.. and probably any other beauty products
