Disrespectful Young People

Above is one of the many examples of racist or religion rudeness which i have come across. Previously, there was a young boy, who is a Muslim, who made fun of the fasting month in a very rude way, using the F word because he thinks he shouldn't fast and nobody can make him and he has an ambition to make a cult of his own. *sigh*... the dreams of YOUNG RETARDS now a days... very laughable.

Issue 1: THE ISSUE

a bunch of young people (assuming in their teens) who make very rude remarks on race and religion on their social networking. Actually to call it "rude" remarks is not enough because rude sounds too tame. The better choice of words to describe it is demeaning, humiliating, degrading etc. You see how the bitch humiliate Islam (above).

I really don't know what are people's problems with Islam. What did the religion do to you to make you say bad things about it? Did it hurt you? humiliate you? Kill your family? Or do you hate Islam because those who profess to Islam are mostly the MALAYS. And you hate the Malays because you think they are spoiled and pampered and you as a non Malay and non Muslim just hate their guts because there is no fairness in Malaysia. So you hate Malay, and you hate Islam and humiliating Islam gives you satisfaction because you will know you will provoke the Malays and degrade them. This is just a possible theory why people hate Islam in Malaysia. Another reason is you are an uncivilized atheist.

Looking at their choice of words, when i was a teen, i never say those stuff to insult another religion. Hell, i don't insult other people's religion. And when im that young, i'm not even concern with religion because i have other better things to be concerned about, like studies and BOYS ;-D.

Teens now a days want to be an adult so much. They try to dress like one and talk like one by discussing so called important stuff which they themselves don't understand. When they don't understand and they lacked maturity, this is the kind of nonsense that take place.

Issue 2 : ARE THEY MENTALLY ILL?

Perhaps not. Just lacked discipline and respect. They are not sensitive enough to other people's feelings, hence the choice of words which are humiliating and degrading. Just because they are so called young and stupid, doesn't mean they can get off the hook easily.

Issue 3 : TA DA... THE APPROPRIATE PUNISHMENT

Of course people want to kill such bitch and bastard but that's anger talking. Because they are young and brainless, we need to give them time to repent and regret what they did (although we believe these sickos won't change. I don't know, if God opens their heart, maybe they will change). Besides, these people didn't murder another being nor do they pose a threat to the religion, thus they can't be killed. But they must be PUNISHED. Severe punishment that acts as a DETERRENT.

What they did is a SERIOUS crime and OFFENSIVE. It can create racial and religion tension. If a teen murders, he won't get off the hook. He will still be punished but less severe of a punishment compared with an adult who suppose to have a more mature thinking. The same situation here.

So what's the punishment? I recommend FINE, COUNSELING and CANNING (ROTAN). If you can FINE couples for "khalwat" a.k.a close proximity, why can't you fine these kind of offenders? Of course the parents need to pay for it i guess but it's a reminder for the parents to teach their children manners and respect. If can't pay, then detention at juvenile centres or community service.

Counseling is necessary because it's suppose to give awareness to offenders. Teach them and tell them why what they did is wrong, perhaps they have some kind of internal probs which make them very racist.

Canning. Another better option than death right... But if im not mistaken, there's no canning for women. Perhaps for this kind of offences, go for light canning i guess since they are suppose to be young offenders. But if adult, the normal pain in the ass canning. But if because of health purpose canning is not allowed for women, then someone need to figure out other proper punishments.

CONCLUSION :

Because this kind of shit keeps on occurring and getting serious, that's why authorities need to SEVERELY PUNISH THEM. No matter which race or whose religion they degrade, all deserved to be punished. Saying they are young and don't know what they said or did is utter crap and BS. Why don't you use that same crap of an excuse for all offences committed by young teens.

If the offender is an adult, it will be a even more severe punishment.

Making fun of race and religion is no joke. You may do it in other countries, but not in Asian countries and DEFINITELY not in MALAYSIA. You get upset if someone bitch and degrade your parents, so why do you tell people to take chill pill when someone insult your religion? Religion is not as serious as your parents? It is as serious as your parents if you love your religion.

Freedom of speech you say? freedom of speech comes with a LIMITATION. With freedom, comes responsibility and that means exercise your freedom carefully and respect other race and religion and don't discriminate them.

Response to the vid attacking Islam

I'm a normal average Muslim woman. I may not follow some of the teachings but my faith is always there. Islam is a religion of rational and logic, that's why my faith is still with this religion. And i thank God for blessing me with a brain that is able to think, understand and question logically.

I came across this degrading video where a man attacks and make fun of Islam. I was really pissed off by this video because it's filled with lies. Right now, i'm trying to control bad words from coming out from my mouth but i just want to say this is a brainless fat ass bastard. I'm attacking this person in his personal capacity and i'm not attacking the religion that he's currently profess to. I've always believe that people make the religion bad because any religion is not bad. It's our human nature (some of us at least), enjoy making fun of other religion and at the same time take pride in our religion. There's no problem in being proud of our religion, but we are not suppose to attack and use vulgar words about other religion, that's DISRESPECTFUL.

So i'm gonna counter attack whatever this bastard said about Islam because i don't want any person who watches this video, get the wrong impression about Islam :

1. He converted out of Islam?

He said "kami org Melayu". So i presume that he is a Malay and used to be a Muslim so that means he converted out from Islam, a.k.a MURTAD. Aside from that, he can read al fatihah in arabic.

As you are aware of, those who converted out from Islam will have to be killed after warning him 3 times. I don't know whether this is stated in the Quran or otherwise but initially i think this was kindda harsh, does this mean Islam is forcing you to remain in the religion when you don't want to?

Over time, it came to me that some of these "murtads" can be dangerous people. Like this fat bastard for example. He converted out of Islam, started preaching about how Islam is fake or evil or whatever. He made fun of his previous religion. And whatever that is said by him are LIES. You degrade Islam with lies. And you don't think such people deserved to be killed?

Then the Lina Joy example. A Muslim who wanted to convert out and demand that her IC which shows she's "Islam" be removed. She went PUBLIC with this, attracting media. This is indirectly trying to tell other Muslims you can convert out of Islam and it's ok, just be brave in fighting those who oppose your conversion. First of all, if you want to convert, convert. Don't try to give ideas to people to convert and you give such idea by going public and thru media.

If really you don't want to be a Muslim, then don't do whatever a Muslim does. You don't have to pray like a Muslim, you don't have to believe in Allah, you don't have to tell people you are a Muslim if people asked. I'm not encouraging or telling people how to convert but if you want to save your sorry asses, don't go public. In addition to that, i don't see why you need to go public with your conversion and you know very well conversion out of Islam is wrong.

2. Al Fatiha

He said the al fatihah says "tunjukkan kami ke jalan yg lurus" a.k.a "show us the right path". His argument is that Prophet Muhammad read the same thing, so if he reads the same thing, and he doesn't know where is the right path, how can he lead the people? Truthfully, you don't have to be a Muslim to counter this argument. It's common sense.

Firstly, the Prophet Muhammad is like a normal human being like the rest of us, he eats, sleeps, breath and definitely pray to God. The difference is that he's gifted and he's chosen to be a Prophet and has a duty to guide the people to the right way.

Like i said earlier, he's a Muslim like the rest of us. He's not God. Of course he needs guidance from Allah too. He's not Mr Perfect because if he is, he don't have to submit himself to Allah. He's being H-U-M-B-L-E. All of us have to be humble and submissive to Allah. You are praying to God for him to always put you on the right path. Is that wrong? Again i tell you, we believe that Prophet Muhammad is a prophet and NOT A GOD.

3. POLYGAMY

He continues to attack Islam by saying Islam encourages "zina" when Prophet Muhammad can have up to 23 wives. He said "isterinya sampai 23". First of all, from what i've read, he has 12 wives. So where did this obese monkey get his facts? Did he simply want to make it 23 to make it sound MORE DRAMATIC, knowing very well the Prophet didn't have that many wives.

And he didn't marry all 12 together at one time because Islam only allows you to have 4 wives at the same time. I'm not gonna elaborate long on polygamy and briefly, this is what i want to say. He married old women, he married widowed women, he married some women for political reasons. Unlike Muslims men now a days, Prophet Muhammad didn't marry out of lust. While married to Khathidjah, he didn't marry another woman until she passed away. And that was like what, 20 years plus?

4. PEDOPHILE

So the insults continue calling the Prophet a pedophile because he married Siti Aisyah when she was 6 years old. However, the marriage was only consummated when she was 9 or 10. Some said she was 15.

Some argue that women back then are matured and it's a norm to marry young. I don't know. But really, if he was a pedophile, all of his wives should be that young right? Why would he marry old women and widows? Really, i don't know how physically and mentally mature a woman can be when she's 10 years old back then.

5. THOU SHALL NOT KILL and JIHAD

"Bunuh satu orang Kristian, dpt .... di syurga". I couldn't hear the word he mentioned but basically he says if you kill a Christian, you are guaranteed heaven.

I have read some parts of the Al Quran. I can point you some parts when the Quran states have mercy on your enemy and threat your captives right but i've mentioned this in my previous blog. Killing is only justified when a person threatens Islam. Is it wrong to kill in the name of religion when someone wants to harm you and your religion?

Islam don't tell Muslims to simply kill the non believers. Only kill when they pose a threat. You would kill someone who threaten your family right? The unfortunate part is that some of those who commit Jihad now a days don't do it the right way. They kill innocent people. Thus this caused Islam to be looked as a religion that promotes terrorism. I have a lot of arguments on this but won't mention it here because it will make the blog longer. My previous blog entries have mentioned and justified this matter. I remember blogging bout this when some idiots attack and called Islam a religion of terror and supposedly show some verses in the Quran indicating Islam supports violence. What these evil people did is that, they only show you certain phrases of the Quran that may look like Islam support violence but had they shown the whole paragraph, it explains the justification and when can you only do it.


6. DOGS

Muslims are not afraid of dogs. We don't look at dogs as disgusting creatures. However, i've come across some Muslims who are just being over dramatic with dogs, calling them "binatang jijik" a.k.a disgusting animals. Seriously, i don't know what's disgusting about dogs. Cockroaches are more disgusting.

We are not allowed to touch dogs when it's WET. That's the rule.

7. ANGELS

The guy go on to say that "pelita" needed to be lighted 7 days before Hari Raya, "Malam 7 Likur", "malam turun berkat". And without the lights, the angels can't see, so no blessings from the angels. What BS is this?

Again, i'm pretty sure the Al Quran didn't mention anything about "pelitas" because as far as i'm concern, the lighting of pelita is just a Malay tradition or culture. You want to make fun or tradition and culture? Traditions and cultures have weird activities or activities that may not seem reasonable and this is not just limited to the Malay. Every race has their own tradition and culture and whether it's weird or funny, that's subjective.

This is a question of tradition and culture, not religion. People these days gave mixed their traditions and cultures into religion and thus creating some kind of confusion. In Islam, we can continue our Malay culture as long as it's not against the teaching of Islam.

8. HAJJ

I'm not that sure about what are the practices or what people do when they do hajj, but maybe after this i shall ask my parents. So i can't argue much on this point.

The guy said that the black stone called Hajaru-l-Aswad, rudely saying it shapes like a "woman's vagina", is like some time of "reborn stone" where people put they head in and take it out and sins are forgiven. I copy and paste a part of an article i obtained fro wikipedia on this matter :

This is what i know : Your sins are not forgiven by doing some kind of rubbish acts. it's up to Allah to forgive or not to forgive you because only Him can see what's truly in your heart. You can doing an act where people tell you if you do it, your sins will be washed away but that doesn't mean your heart is clean or you genuinely repent.


9. CONCLUSION

Sometimes there are Muslims who do things which Islam in fact didn't ask them to do. But they think if they do something EXTRA, it will be better. So they add in a few things, thinking oh, if i do that, i get more blessing or if i do this longer, God will love me more. Some Muslims simply go over broad, like jihad being given the image of terrorism.

Another example is "Purda", the thing where you cover your whole face except for your eyes. It's unnecessary and Islam never require you to do that. The purda is a culture doing. Islam is not that restrictive. That's what happens when you blend culture with religion, it tends to become something else, something that might be even more difficult to do, or something that may look ridiculous.

So if you don't understand Islam, don't simply accused Islam having crazy and illogical practices. And really, use your bloody head to think before you choose to say something.

I have another blog but i post the same thing as i post in this current blog. In that other blog, i received a comment from an AMERICAN who has his own view on my previous blog on The Issue With "Everybody Draw Muhammed Day". This was his comment :

The World Trade Center and The Pentagon. And then you wonder why Americans call muslims terrorist. Your religion is based on violence even more than christrian religion. You and the zealots are offended by a CARTOON or a PICTURE. But not the lives and deaths that have come in the name of your god? Well im offended by the attack and murder of more than 2000 INNOCENT Americans on 9/11! In the name of your god!! Whats more offensive the killing of innocent people? I dont expect a reply and im sure you will delete me and this reply im not a religious man but i ask one more time what is more offensive a cartoon or drawing of your god or the senseless killing in the name of that god. i'm going to discuss this as diplomatically as i can. What you are doing right now is attacking Islam and other Muslims who are not terrorists. You are blaming the act of a bunch of psychotic muslims (Osama and his people) on the whole Muslims. First of all, do we say Christian is a religion of pedophiles with the high amount of priests fondling young children? NO. The religion isn't bad but it's the people who are bad, so don't attack the religion but attack the people committing the offence. It isn't fair for you to call my religion a religion of violence just because a bunch of people decide to go psycho on USA. You think many innocent Americans died on 9/11? What about all the innocent civilians killed by American soldiers in wars which America seem to be so actively participate in? Do we hate all the Americans? Do we hate Christian? No. We hate US government and their war policies. A murder who kill 20 people can claim he received orders from God to kill them. Do you blame God? Do you blame that religion for making him kill those 20 people? NO. You blame that murderer alone. Those physcho Muslims can claim they kill in the name of religion, and you actually believe it? For all u know it can be for political reasons. You want to kill Osama and people like him, go ahead because in the first place, i never believe he was fighting in the name of God. But don't ever attack on Islam just because of few mentally retarded people who go around misusing our religion's name. But nooooo, since that incident, everyone wants to bitched about Islam and other Muslims, giving us names, making fun of us, provoking us, simply calling us terrorists according to you whims and fancies. do you think that's fair?



P/s : why did i post it? to share people's view. My intention is to try to make people realize that Islam is not a religion of terror that enjoys terrorizing people. Although I'm not religious, but it hurts me when people say untrue things about my religion. And for some radical Muslims out there, rethink your method in dealing with people who try to destroy Islam. Don't just resort to violence and curses.

The issue with "Everybody Draw Muhammed Day"

Above is a picture of a cartoon poster drawn by Molly Norris. I'll briefly explain how "Everybody Draw Muhammed Day" arise. actually, i don't need to brief it since it was explained at the top of the poster which reads :


in light of recent "veiled"(ha!) threats aimed at the creators of television show South Park (for depicting the prophet Muhammed in a bear suit)...


That's part of it. What most non Muslims don't understand about Islam is that we Muslims only worship one God and that's Allah. We don't worship Prophet Muhammad but we acknowledged him as a prophet and we respect him as a prophet. Why we don't depict Mohammed in any human forms (what more in animal cartoons) is that some fanatics may worship him. The moment you depict something in some form, some may use it as a symbol of worshiping. Even now some super fanatic followers of Prophet Muhammed behave as if they are worshiping him, which is totally wrong. Some want to follow exactly what Muhammed do or wear. I mean of course you can follow the good things but certain things are unnecessary and doesn't accommodate to the Malaysia lifestyle. Some say they want to keep beard because Prophet Muhammed has one, and it was a secondary schoolboy who says this and under school discipline, you can't have one. So now you see the logic of not depicting Prophet Muhammed in any form? It's to prevent worshiping of him.

And depicting him in an animal form (like South Park depicting him as a bear) is totally disrespectful. South Park is infamous for degrading other religions too. You can make fun of celebrities, sports stars and politicians but kindly don't make fun of religion.

Until when will people ever understand that when you practice certain rights, it comes with limitation and that limitation requires respect to other rights? I think the cartoonist thinks she damn F*cking funny. You have the right to your own religion but i have a right for my religion to be respected too. Be careful with what you draw, it may give ideas to people. Like what is happening currently.

and i find the poster insulting. Yes, maybe i don't have a sense of humor but not everything in life is funny. Some people are just blessed with too much "sick" humor in their genes. Really, sometimes i don't understand how people can make jokes like "i sleep or **** with your mother". It's disgusting and disrespectful no matter if you say it without intention.

Islam doesn't support terrorism

Okay my last few blog posts have been kindda religious. Not that i have received some "light" or whatsoever but one thing leads to another, resulting me wanting to defend Islam and how Islam's image have been tarnished with images of terrorism, not thanks to those fanatic jerks who misused Islam for their personal purposes. Some jihads are justified, some aren't.

Enemies of Islam, who are they? Those who want to see the religion disappear, those who bitch bout Islam - saying nasty and untrue stuff about Islam, those who want to see Muslim fight among each other etc. There are some people in this world who love to make fun of religion because he himself doesn't believe in religion. If you don't believe in religion, why do you need to bitched about religion? Either these people have no religion or they are from other religion who simply hate Islam. If you are from another religion, I'm sure your religion didn't tell you to bitch about another religion right?

When people draw degrading pictures of Prophet Muhammad, create videos insulting religion, make comments hurtful about the religion, for me it's unacceptable. If someone bitched about your parent, won't you get upset and you definitely want to punch that person's face right? Someone murder your family member, are you just gonna remain silent? Someone defame you to the extend of destroying your reputation, are you gonna keep quiet and say God will punish them instead of taking defamation action (in court) against them?

People say don't fight fire with fire. If people bitch about you, don't bitch back about them, don't stood to the same level as them. Perhaps if it's a small matter, you don't really have to retaliate but are you gonna keep quiet if it's a big matter?

Some people say Islam support violence and terrorism based on the verses in the Quran. Words, they are powerful and influential tool, thus you need to use them carefully. What people think is violent can be misunderstood for protection. All Allah want is for the religion of Islam to be protected from enemies who have ill intention to the religion. Is it wrong to protect your religion? Punishment is necessary, especially to those who are stubborn.

Example, if your child did something wrong, mere words aren't enough to teach the child a lesson. Sometimes you need to cane him (of course, it must be reasonable caning). You are not equal with your child, you are superior to your child, your child needs to respect you.

Punishment have many purposes, most obvious is to strike fear in you so that you won't repeat it again. Besides that, it's also to tell you what you did is wrong and unacceptable.

For those who bitched about religions, what you do is unacceptable. The drawings and all, it's unacceptable and it's uncivilised and disrespectful. Freedom of speech you say? That's bullshit. Such freedom shouldn't be given 100%. Look at what happened when you give freedom 100% without limitation, people abused it. Make degrading drawings, make stupid and degrading jokes on religion and races and other sensitive matter. You think everything can be made fun of? No.

A verse from the Quran that i like to quote (taken from the English translation) :


47:4 - so when you meet (Jihad in Allah's cause) those who disbelieve, smite (their) necks til when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them - take them as captives). Thereafter (is the time) either for generosity (free them without ransom) or random (according to what benefits Islam) until the war lays down its burden. Thus [you are ordered by Allah to continue in carrying out jihad against the disbelievers till they EMBRACE Islam and are saved from punishment in hell fire or at leaast come under your protection], but if it had been Allah's will, He Himself could certainly have punished them (without you) But (He lets you fight) in order to test some of you with others. But those who are killed in the way of Allah, he will never let their deeds be lost.

I've seen enemies of Islam who just quote the part on killing the enemies of Islam to show how Islam support terrorist without quoting the whole passage. Words are open to interpretation, that's the dangerous part of it. Like here, it mention until they EMBRACE ISLAM - this doesn't mean the non muslim have to convert to Islam. It means they have to accept Islam as a religion and not find faults with it. Islam never force someone to convert to Islam.

Another verse :

8:56 : they are those with whom you made a covenant but they BREAK their covenant every time and they don't fear Allah.

8:57 : so if you gain MASTERY over them in WAR, PUNISH them SEVERELY in order to disperse those who are behind them so they may LEARN A LESSON.

8:58 - if you (O Muhammad)fear TREACHERY from any people throw back (their convenant) to them (so as to be) on equal terms (that there will be no more covenant between you and them). Certainly Allah likes not the treacherous.

8:60 - and make ready against them all you can of power, including steeds of war (tanks, plans, missiles, artillery) to threaten the enemy of Allah and your enemy, and others besides whom, you may not know but whom Allah does know. And whatever you shall spend in the cause of Allah shall be repaid unto you and you shall not be treated unjustly.

8:61 - but if they incline to peace, you also incline to it, and (put your) trust in Allah verily, He is the All Hearer, the All Knower.

i quote exactly from the quran translation (of course i didn't quote each and every verses if not my blog will be too long). Basically, the to sum it up, this verse justify why jihad is allowed against the non believers. It is only allowed when the non believers become TREACHEROUS, go back on their promise. Purpose? To TEACH THEM A LESSON and they shall be punished SEVERELY (all these are stated in the verses, i didn't make it up).

You see, if this godforsaken world actually practice respect among each other, the Muslims need not have to declare jihad against the non believers. Remember that asshole Theo Van Goh guy? He had it coming for him. We Muslims don't tolerate insults to our religion - end of story. Our action of what you may think of as terrorism is justified. Either the government take action against their people for not respecting religion or Muslims will be glad to it for them.

The Non Muslim who wants to be the syariah lawyer and conversion

I was suppose to be bitching bout my experience with Pos Laju but i'll put that on hold since i'm no longer angry with Pos Laju. I was angry with them during that incident itself and then i finally cooled ddown. Nevertheless, they didn't do they work well and they are lazy! I'm the one who have to go after them.

An interesting issue that came out in the news is about the non muslim who wants to be a syariah lawyer. It was brought to my notice by friends, i didn't even come across the news online. Sorry, there's no tv at my house so i'm not able to watch the news on tv. I didn't know this would be an issue. I mean, you allowed non muslims to study syariah law in universities yet when one wants to practice, you don't allow it?

A friend told me that the reason why they don't allow it is because there are certain verses you need to read from the Al Quran if you practice as a syariah lawyer so you need to be a Muslim to do that. I don't know whether this is accurate since i didn't study syariah law but it doesn't make sense to me.

Syariah law is like any other law but the difference is that it's Islamic law with Islamic punishments. I'm not sure where did they get the syariah law from, was it created from practices since the prophets' time or are the law stated in the Holy book of Quran?

Some people think that non Muslims can't touch or read the Quran. Of course the Al Quran is a holy book and need to be respected but if a non muslims wants to read it to gain knowledge, is that wrong? I'm sure a non muslim syariah lawyer would need to refer to the Al Quran from time to time, and why, is this not permissible and therefore you don't allow them to practice?

Another thing that becomes an issue is that people question her intention of wanting to be a syariah lawyer. Someone told me she does so because she wants to protect the non muslims that are affected by the syariah law. I don't blame her for having such intention although this is INDIRECTLY saying that the muslim syariah lawyers are INCOMPETENT. How are the non muslims affected by the syariah law?

This happens so frequently in matters of conversion. Example, a non muslim couple got married, later the husband converted into muslim SECRETLY. Then later he converted the children into muslim. When the wife finds out, she will be aggrieved. The children also belonged to her, not just to her husband so why should he alone decide what religion the children should practice?

Most Muslims claim the husband has the right to do so and some will just ignore the issue but supporting the convert husband and children silently. They won't voice out what they think because it's a sensitive matter and they will support whatever is good for the Muslims.

I'm a Muslim but i don't simply support Islam if i think it's unfair or wrong. You don't follow things blindly. There's nothing wrong with the religion, it's the people who are wrong. My view on Israel-Palestin? Children and women shouldn't be made suicide bombers and you shouldn't teach children to hate the enemies.

And back to this current issue, i pity the woman because she seems not to have any remedy since it seems that Islamic law or anything that is good to the Muslims should prevail. For me, the solution is simple. An adult can convert to Muslim, it's his choice but he shouldn't convert his children without his wife's consent. We Muslims get so uptight when an ex Muslim wants to convert his children into other religion but we keep quiet when a non Muslim child is converted to Muslim, especially without the other parent's consent.

People create problems and make the religion look bad. I don't agree with the guy converting his children silently without his wife's consent. If you are doing something "good", why do it discreetly? Besides that, i also question the husband's motive. Did he convert the children to annoy his wife? To embarrass his wife or he genuinely want the children to embrace Islam like how he did?

And what are the Muslim syariah lawyers doing to solve this matter? Nothing. There are like so many controversies on conversion issues. I suggest you pass a law, prohibiting a parent from converting a child into any religion without the other parent's consent. Problem solve. You know, in some countries, the children won't have any religion until he chooses one by the time he reach 18 years old. For me, that's not right. A child should be taught religious values since he/she was young. Regardless of what religion you are, all religion are good because they ask you to do good things and to keep away from bad things.

So perhaps I'm a liberal Muslim. I support fairness and justice. Don't do things which you don't want people to do to it. Remember that Lina Joy bitch? The bitch who converted from Islam and wants the word "Islam" to be removed from her IC? Firstly, you can't convert from Islam to another religion, there are good strong reasons to this. Secondly, you are given 3 warnings if you insist on converting and if you insist on doing so, you can be killed. Why is there such rule in Islam? Doesn't this seem harsh? Personally, it's not harsh. See, if the bitch actually uses her brain to think, if she doesn't want to be a Muslim any more, be my guess. no one is forcing her but don't EVER GO TO PUBLIC ADMIT with some guts that you converted out from Islam. No Muslims like that. The bitch should be lucky no super religious Muslim tried to kill her in the name of Islam. When you do something publicly, you are encouraging those who have intention of converting to convert out of Islam. Don't expect the government to give you what you want because they will be protecting the welfare of the majority of Muslims.
